Southwestern Textile Restorations Inc. was established in 1981 by Bob Morgan. The sole purpose of SWTR has always been the restoration, repair and cleaning of Navajo Indian rugs and weavings.

After 26 years and close to 10,000 Navajo Indian rugs and weavings restored, repaired and cleaned by us, we continue to provide Navajo Indian rug and weaving owners with some of the greatest knowledge, experience and quality restorations, repair and cleaning in this country.

All restorations, repairs and cleaning are done in-house. We do not export to 3rd world countries where maybe a 16 year old girl making less then $50.00 a month is repairing your weaving - or to someone here in America with a needle and thread, no Insurance and some Oriental rug repair experience darn your weaving, that does not increase or sustain your Indian weaving or rug’s value. It just keeps the rug or weaving from deteriorating any further.

If you have had your Navajo Indian weaving repaired and you can see where the hole was that would be you. We are not an Oriental rug company that jumped into the business in the past decade because of the explosion of people wanting to collect Indian Art. We were here when Indian rugs and weavings were not collected and we will be here when the Oriental rug companies move to something else.
